Ebay is a great site although you do have to be careful |
Unfortunately, ebay has built up a reputation of being a site full of dishonest sellers who only sell counterfeit items, rip offs and seconds. There are some dishonest sellers on ebay, I know of many people who have been ripped off (me included) however there are some honest sellers on ebay who sell high quality and genuine products at a reduced price, so there are genuine bargains to be had if you are fortunate enough to find them.
My personal ebay experience shows that individuals selling products in the ebay classified section are most likely to rip you off therefore I stay away from the ebay classified section as far as possible. If I track down an exceptionally cheap item in the ebay classified section I may have a punt on it, however I refuse to spend a lot of money on any items in the ebay classified section, and prefer to use an ebay store.
Pandora jewellery has become well known and very popular over the last couple of years or so, and it is easy to see why. Pandora Pandora manufactures earrings, necklaces and anklets however its biggest sellers are charm bracelets and associated charms. A charm Pandora bracelet is a wonderful piece of jewellery that allows you to create your own individual charm bracelet over a period of time. Currently, there are hundreds of Pandora charms and the collection is getting bigger and bigger all the time.
Pandoara charm bracelets can be personalised to suit all tastes |
Most Pandora charms are very nice, although there are some that look cheap and tacky, even though they are genuine Pandora. Because of this I refuse to buy Pandora charms unless I can see them in the flesh, feel them and put them on a bracelet to see what they look like.
Genuine Pandora jewellery can be purchased directly from the Pandora website or from an authorised Pandora stockist, of which there are many. There is also a lot of Pandora jewellery listed in both ebay classified sections and ebay stores. The Pandora on ebay claims to be genuine yet it is far less than you would pay for the same items from the Pandora website or an authorised Pandora stockist. If prices are “too good to be true” they generally are and there is usually something not quite right. As a test I bought a “genuine Pandora” charm from an ebay classified advert to see what it was like. Genuine Pandora charms are screwed on to the charm bracelet, this charm simply slid on (and off again) so this charm was definitely fake. The overall build quality was also very suspect.
If you are tempted to save a few bucks by purchasing some Pandora jewellery on ebay, or lured by the super cheap prices advertised in many ebay stores and ebay classified adverts “beware”.
